Low-Lives & High-Fives

I could barely write a grocery list, let alone a weblog.

I don’t know why but this month as been pretty good to me. I’ve been out of Dr Pepper and franks ‘n beans so one would expect that this month would be horrible but it’s not. There are just so many people I’ve talked to and projects I’ve been working on and it feels so great, all despite being antisocial. I don’t even think I’m antisocial. I’d even dare to say I am quite social. Alright well maybe just a little, but I just hate leaving my house. Anyway one of these projects I’m working on is sooo good. It’s a 12-piece tape project and I can’t talk about it here ’cause it’s soooo awesome that it will most likely be stolen by every single one of you but yeah man. SOO AWESOMEE like you wouldn’t believe.

I’m not doing very good in Physics and I don’t really have any intentions of getting any better at it. It just seems like half the time in Physics class I’m thinking about 7-inch records and a quarter of the time I’m thinking about girls and the other quarter I’m thinking about being a cowboy. Any one of those choices seems very very awesome compared to physics class.

We might be playing a show on April 6th at Super Happy Fun Land with Armed Metropolis and 2 other touring bands from the Atlantic-states. And maybe we’ll get Muhomadillo to open. They are some Doo Doo Butter and some Brains for Dinner hybrid except there are three members who all play banjo. This last paragraph terrifies yet thrills me. Andrew and I are working on a song that has a chorus that goes “We’re gonna fight until we cannot fight no more!” Oh man how I love the ridiculous.

Man so that show we played the other night went quite well. Made new friends and caught up with old friends all that stuff.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the word “antisocialism.” At first I was trying to come up with a word meaning the practice of being antisocial, but I now see that it also means a belief opposing the socialist movement.

Now that I think about it, the end of every day boils down to whatever Fletcher’s doing in that there picture. Ya know, tucking your shirt into your underpants and drinking orange soda in a parking lot with a military grade truck parked out there and stuff like that.

A lot of kids say he isn’t that smart of a guy. “Screw’em! Screw’em all!”
