Man…I went to see Japanther and Madeline tonight at a house that’s being torn down tomorrow. The show was supposed to start at 7 and I had to leave at 9 ’cause of school so I thought two hours was a perfect time frame for 4 bands to play. Hung around for a while, talked to Dylan and John and his friend..I forgot his name but I met him last month and he goes to HSPVA. Met up with Mablemouse, he’s a cool guy but I was so shy because I never met him before. The show didn’t really start until around 8:30 so I didn’t even get to see the first band finish. The people were packed like sardines in that little bedroom. I had to squirm my way out to leave. Oh well I milked it for all it’s worth. Took pictures, cracked open the window so the kids outside could hear.

Punkin’ Pie was the only band I got to see. They projected Polar Express on the wall which was all kinds of awesome.

If you stayed for the show’s entirety, tell me everything that happened! And with details.

I’m getting pretty good at making sushi.
I got some CDs in the mail. The new Ghost Mice and the old Madeline [Adams]. I asked my mom if she wanted to go see Madeline with me and she said no. Oh well. I played the Madeline CD when I was working on the yearbook and my teacher compared her to Celine Dion. I don’t know where he got that comparison. I’m not joining yearbook next year. Someone should go see Madeline with me since my mom doesn’t want to go. It’s a house show with Japanther. It’s at a house called the Peppermint Palace. I’ve never heard of it before but I remember sending a CD there not too long ago and it’s less than ten minutes away from my house.

I hope it’s early so I can go. If I were my parents I wouldn’t let me go to things like this. I don’t know why they trust me when they drop me off at a place they’ve never heard before late at night.
Please stop making stupid Chuck Norris jokes. They’re just not funny anymore. They were funny like 4 months ago and only for a day, at that. And pretending to be drunk/stoned/high/intoxicated at any length is pretty stupid. If I know you then please don’t do that. It’s maybe even as stupid as Chuck Norris jokes. Being drunk/stoned/high/intoxicated doesn’t make you any cooler, either. Well it makes you cool if you’re a hardworking person with a shitty job and you live in a crappy shack and you’re still struggling to pay your bills. Those people deserve to unwind a little. I don’t know what it’s like but it’s worse than my life, for sure. Don’t take pictures of yourself getting drunk or stoned or brag about how drunk you got on Saturday night, please.
