I think my dad found my pink razors and threw them away because he doesn’t want me shaving with razors so he gave me a cordless electric razor. After using an electric razor, facial hair grows back weird and looks grosser than before and feels worse than before. Facial hair is gross. Electric razors are gross.
I lost the bid for the leather jacket. I think if I had a leather jacket I’d just end up filling most of the pockets up with Pez and yo-yos and GameBoy cartridges. I’m looking for some of my old toys which is probably why my clothes and bed are all dusty. Because I’ve been opening old boxes and old bags and flipping through old books. Everything has dust on it.
I found my kaleidoscope. My mom bought it when I was still a toddler. I wonder if any kaleidoscope patterns are ever the same. There are several beads and aluminum scraps and sequin shapes inside and with every turn the pattern changes. I wonder if I’ve ever gotten the same pattern for all the years that I’ve owned it. Maybe there aren’t so many sequins and shapes. Maybe there are only a few but with several mirrors inside. I don’t know and won’t know how to keep track.
I was looking through some pictures I took over the last few months of school. Especially at the candid pictures of large groups of people. The resolution on the pictures are so high that each face in a group can clearly be seen. And each look on each person’s face is so different, even if the overall mood is the same. And the fact that they didn’t know I was taking a picture of them unintentionally or I took a picture of them unintentionally or I own an unintentional picture of them adds to the mood of the picture.
I’m supposed to be recording my album throughout the summer but I’m too lazy, I only finished recording 1 song. Maybe it’s because I spend several hours a day playing and listening to Oh Yoko instead of recording things.

Henry Darger was born in the late 1800’s. When he was 4, his mother died after she gave birth to his sister. His sister would be sent to an orphanage and he would never see her again. When he was 8 he was given to an orphange and his father died shortly after. When he was 16, he was diagnosed with a mental illness at the orphanage but he ran away. He spent the rest of his life as a janitor at a Chicago area hospital. He died when he was around 80. After his death, his landlord entered Darger’s apartment and found a manuscript for a fantasy story that was over 15,000 pages typed and written by Darger. Along with the giant manuscript, he found several thousand watercolor paintings and collages that told accompanied the story. Jeeze he must have been a genius.
Yeah I haven’t done anything lately but read about Henry Darger and Jean Luc Godard. I’m downloading A Bout De Souffle right now so hopefully I’ll be able to get some experience with French new wave cinema of the 1960’s by tomorrow morning.

About 12 or 13 years ago when I lived in Japan, I bought this pen from the store in the subway.

It’s a puzzle game. When you pull the yellow lever down, the three pictures spin around really fast and then you let go, hoping that the three land in correct formation that form the Ultrasaurus.
When you get bored of that, you turn it to the side and it’s like a slot machine. When you get 3 T-rexes, that’s the jackpot.

I’ve got one day to figure out how or if I can go to Mary Jane’s on Saturday night. I haven’t been to a show since October. I haven’t done anything since October.

I’ve been practicing using extended shutter speeds.
I watched this French movie called Love Me If You Dare. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t too great either.
I’ve got nothing interesting today.

So Late Night with Conan just ended because they moved his time slot directly after Leno’s. So now I have nothing to do for the next 2 hours. But earlier this afternoon I was watching Rushmore and I noticed this little detail that I didn’t believe until I did furthur research.

In the lower right hand corner, I saw what looked like Rory Gilmore. I thought she was just an extra that just happened to look like that Alexeis Bleidel girl but I Googled it and sure enough, it’s that girl that plays Rory Gilmore. It makes sense considering that most of the movie was filmed in Houston and she’s from Houston and blah blah blah I’m bored out of my mind. Being an extra in a Wes Anderson movie is a lifelong dream. Ugh stupid Ben already doing that before I did.
And now MIles is grounded again so no Of Montreal/Tilly and the Wall for me.
