Yesterday I got to school at about 7:40 PM but I didn’t leave until 8:30. You’re probably wondering why I’d be in school that long and I will answer that question. The school had a Halloween fair thing directly after school ended. The fair was for little kids so there were a bunch of dumb games and whatever and the students volunteered to help out. I need to get my community service hours up to graduate so I volunteered. It was actually sort of fun, I barely worked even though I was supposed to. Most of the time was just me walking around to talk to people or me and some people sitting on a curb. The booths I worked at were the football-through-a-tire-hanging-from-a-rope booth, basketball, pick-a-floating-plastic-duck-from-the-kiddie-pool-and-get-candy, musical chairs, and I cleaned up after the thing was over. The moonwalk thing was unattended so Mr. Fuentes told me to settle down the little kids and I complied because Mr. Fuentes is awesome. And all I did there was yell at the little kids to get the hell off. And we got to dress up and I dressed up like Alex from A Clockwork Orange because I’m awesome. I lost my slip that people signed to verify that I was working at the very end but when we were cleaning up, Travis found it on the floor which was actually quite amazing because there were a bunch of white papers on the floor and he happened to not throw away that one. It was sort of fun. I’d do it again next year.

I haven’t been updating much, maybe 2 weeks now. I guess I’ll just start this entry with today and then work my way backwards of all the interesting things that happened.
Today I brought the Amelie soundtrack to art class and put it in the CD player. I’m really liking it and have like 3 pieces of sheet music on it I haven’t started on yet. Then I started getting into Interpol on Sunday because I’ve known of them for a while but never checked them out but now I think they’re sort of OK. In advisory we talked about the election and stuff but I don’t like talking about politics because I’m not old enough to vote and people that can’t vote should keep their mouthes shut when it comes to elections. For lunch I usually have a bunch of lettuce in between two slices of bread but today I had a whole bunch of meat in between two slices of bread because I’m tired of lettuce. Meat is so much better.
Yesterday I watched some of Kill Bill 2. I stopped watching after the part the Bride meets her daughter for the first time because my dad got home and I don’t like watching movies when my dad’s home. I also watched some of Punch Drunk Love because that’s a great movies.
On Saturday I was supposed to go to my cousin’s Bar Mitzvah party thing but I didn’t go because I didn’t feel like it and my dad was trying to get me to feel all guilty and stuff but I really didn’t care because I barely know my cousins in the first place. I watched Jude Law’s monologue on Saturday Night Live because I think he’s cool but I unfortunately didn’t get to see the thing with Ashlee Simpson messing up her lip-syncing.
On Friday I brought my NES to school and played Double Dragon II and Mario on Dr. Ficht’s TV. Nelson and I started talking about the kids from Lanier last year. It sounded like they gave him hell but I didn’t think they were any bad. In Spanish class, Fletcher was like “Oh yeah I’m gonna see you guys play during lunch today” and he was referring to us [badly] playing guitar in the IPC room while everyone else was eating lunch but I told him we didn’t bring our gear and he was bummed out. Haha he’s our biggest fan. Music club was slow because I didn’t bring my bass. At night, my dad made me go to my cousin’s Bar Mitzvah dinner but I told him I didn’t wanna go because I wasn’t feeling very good but he made me go anyway. I couldn’t eat anything because I was feeling sick and I didn’t say anything to anyone because all they ever do is brag about how many languages they know or how many countries they’ve been to and I only know one language and hate travelling.
On Thursday I saw this jeep with an Aquabats sticker on the back so I looked to see who was driving and it was this girl I met at SkaFest almost a year ago. I didn’t wave or anything because it would’ve been weird.
On Wednesday I finished the eyeball cuff-links on my Droog costume. I don’t remember anything else that’s happened before that.

I’m such a sell out for participating in these “chain entry” things for online journals.

Post a memory (or multiple ones) of me in the comments. It can be anything you want.
Then post this to your journal and see what people remember of you.

fran, francesca… franCISca …close!

I just came back from seeing Blonde Redhead and the Fatal Flying Guilloteens. I went with Marsha, Derya, and this other girl whose name I’ve forgotten. It began with a Fran. Francesca sounds right but I’m not sure. The show was fun. I like Marsha because she bought me a View-Master because she thinks I’m either really cool or really lame. I think it’s the first gift I’ve ever gotten in a lot of years. She left it in the car, though.
Blah blah blah.

LiveJournal is getting boring now. I don’t feel like updating anymore.
School is getting sort of worse. We’re not allowed to go to the college through the side entrances anymore because the high school students make too much noise. It was raining today so I was gonna walk through HCC really fast but when I opened the door, Mr. Webster was standing right there and told me I’m not allowed to use the door anymore but it was raining so he told me to walk through really fast and don’t talk to anybody that tried to stop me. I really hope the school doesn’t go under or anything because that means I’ll have to go to a real high school and those places scare the hell out of me.
