Yeah so I just found out my guitar teacher’s band opened for the Get Up Kids a few years back. WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS?!

It started when I went to the lesson and I brought him a New Amsterdams CD to check out and I was like “Oh, and it’s the Get Up Kids’ side project” and he was like “Oh my band opened for them once. I told you that haven’t it I?” and I was like “No.”

So what he told me was his old band (Big Green Machine) played at Fitz to open for the Get Up Kids and a supporting band. Big Green Machine put these giant black lights at the sides of the stage and they got these two girls to pillowfight during the last song. The girls cut the pillows so when the pillows slammed against each other, they exploded and feathers flew out from everywhere while the black lights made them glow. Turns out, the drummer for the supporting band is allergic to feathers and he started throwing up everywhere and then Big Green Machine got in trouble with the owners of Fitz.

Watched Requiem for a Dream just now and then I had the idea of making a movie shot entirely with a fish lense. And it’d be in English except it’d still be subtitled. And instead of voices there would only be a really long music piece, Godspeed-ish.

I usually clean out my journal every two months or so by deleting every single comment until I started uploading pictures. And then Snapfish started sucking and the good pictures don’t work anymore so I might as well delete those. I’ve calculated that if I didn’t delete anything I ever put in my journal I would have only 624 entries, not sure how many comments.

So I’m downloading the Unreal Tournament Uber Demo and the download thing says 99% and it was extracting the file to my harddrive. And then the power went out right at 99.99% AND I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN.
